Poem of a Cacophonous City

This is a collection of film images that represents the noise and clutter of the city. Image titles for each image also connote a particular aspect of cities.

All of these were taken on film, and are always going to look like this when printed direct from film to paper or film to digital scanner. This series uses old photographic techniques and done with all in-camera techniques. The camera used was a Minolta Dynax 5 with Ilford 100 film.

Within nine months of these images being heavily promoted by Andrew, other photographers from Tokyo and Osaka started to release similar photos that were composites produced in PhotoShop. Following which in 2012 to 2013 there was a boom in double-image PhotoShop composites.
